Ohio man designs, builds, and is awarded a Patent for a new guitar!

AKRON OHIO- Michael Silvey of Akron Ohio has designed, built, and patented an exciting new guitar that he named "NIGHTWING!" The prototype guitar was completed in May 2002. Silvey was awarded a patent for his guitar in December 2002. Silvey is now searching for a guitar company to either produce the guitar, or license out the guitar for him. He also has several more designs he would like to make working models for.

Silvey designed "NIGHTWING!" 13 years ago. The design plans were stored away in boxes until 2000. Unfortunately, Silvey is unable to start a guitar manufacturing operation because of a medical illness, which is why he is in search of a guitar company to bring the guitar to market so others can enjoy it.

Not only does "NIGHTWING!" look great, it sounds awesome too! Silvey's design is considered by many to be a work of art. It is truly a guitar for the 21st Century as Silvey stated; "the guitar would be a great presence for the practicing musician, as well as a great addition for guitar collectors.
