FASHION, TRENDS, NEW YORK
A new magazine hits stands soon and New York City will have no choice but to welcome it with open arms...
Right across the Hudson, in Jersey City, New Jersey, a shroud of secrecy has been kept in the offices of Advanced Entertainment, LLC, owned by renowned event planner John Stepanian. What makes this shroud different is that its made of a plush velvet material and lined in the finest of silks.
Making its debut into the foray of the publishing world this year is the newest stallion in the Advanced Entertainment stable. Boiz Magazine / Girl Magazine" strange name you might think, however, upon explanation its rather simple and idealistic. This magazine will be a duel sided magazine aimed at an urban market focusing on fashion, music, trends, news, current topics affecting the public in general, however, with a twist. One side of the Magazine will be aimed at men while focusing on male issues and trends in fashion and music aptly named Boiz Magazine" while the reverse side will be geared towards women issues and a focus on beauty and culture and named Girl Magazine".
When asked how to describe the magazine, Mr. Stepanian said Its about the fabulous people who are doing other things, its the whos who of the party scene, its the publics voice on music choices and reviews, its all of New York City here and now, wrapped up in each issue." According to sources, the magazine is also considered alternative lifestyle friendly and will not hide" issues pertaining to the Gay and Lesbian market as well, continues John Stepanian …no, absolutely not, this magazine is geared towards all individuals in all markets, all sectors. New York City has never been quiet with anything, and Im not going to either, if theres something to say, our magazine will say it, I dont care if its an issue affecting the straight market" or the gay market", it will be printed."
Boiz/Girl Magazine will be a publication free to the public with revenues generated via advertising sales and expected to change to a full sized magazine format at the end of the first year and then sold on newsstands.
