In her world travels, as an Air Force wife, Wendy discovered that women everywhere, no matter their skin color or ethic origin, had the same complaint: skin care products were designed for someone younger, older, oilier, dryer, T"zoned….in short, for someone ELSE. Thats when a question started nagging me," Wendy said. Every woman is a marvelous composite of personality, genes, environment, experiences, and spirit, so why dont they have skin care that reflects their uniqueness?" When she and her husband settled in Las Vegas in 1995, Wendy, a European-trained aromatherapist and aesthetician, established a reflexology and aromatherapy practice that integrated her expertise in botanicals and essential oils with her growing interest in the nurturing of the soul.

But with the success of the practice, the nagging became louder. Wendy realized that she could no longer ignore her calling: to provide women with customized, natural skin care. In 1997 Aromaprofiles was born. Wendy calls the five years spent perfecting Profiles and the unique Aromaprofiling Analysis, which profiles customers skin, personality, and environment, testing ingredients for efficacy and streamlining reams of historical and scientific information on aromatherapy, health, and related topics a true test of my determination."

She passed that test with flying colors. In early 2002 Profiles, a customized aromatherapy skincare line formulated to bring balance and a radiant glow to the skin from the inside out was launched, along with Aromaprofiles.com, a virtual customization skincare store, and AromaUse©, an online magazine featuring Aromatherapy 101, tips on creating a mind, body and soul connection, and other important subjects for women.
