Lucid'i.t. reveals Lucid XML Data Manager 1.2.

Lucid'i.t., a technology company developing a Content Management Solution, is proud to announce the new release of its native XML database, Lucid XML Data Manager 1.2, keystone of its Global Management System.

About Lucid XML Data Manager:
Native XML Database, Lucid XML Datamanager optimizes the information access thanks to its unique storage manager: you increase the value of your information and ensure its durability:

This database offers many advantages, by enabling you:
- to manage efficiently millions of documents,
- to centralize information, which avoids heterogeneous systems networking
maintenance,
- to use only one format for data exchanges, which makes interactions with
third applications (ERP, applications servers...) easier,
- to return /restore information in real time by quick and precise exchanges
with the database,
- to spread information to customers without writing again existing data.

New release
Two declinations of Lucid XML Data Manager are now available: it can not only run on Linux, thanks to its Java API, but also on Windows, being easily linked to the Microsoft environment, using a COM API.

This API COM enables all kinds of developments: .NET or Win32 applications via languages such as C#, VB, C++, ASP... Lucid XML Data Manager can now be integrated in all MS Office products (Excel, Word...) via VBA macros.

Functional advantages
Its main features are:
- storage and both structural and textual indexing of XML data in a native
system (parsing carried out by Lucid XML Toolkit),
- database query thanks to the XPath standard queries language, with two
additionnal operators for full-text researchs,
- data modifications, at node or document levels,
- documents recovery or fragments extraction (retrieved DOM objects are
manipulated thanks to Lucid XML Toolkit)

There is no relationnal database layout, which optimizes data access. Lucid XML Data Manager can easily be included in a content management worflow. Data can be very precisely exploited: access times to a document or just a small part of it are equivalents.

Lucid XML Data Manager, keystone of its Global Management System.
Lucid XML Data Manager is integrated to Lucid e-Globalizer, the global solution enabling multilingual content management for pluri-media publishing and brings therefore the determinant element for companies aiming at a rational, lucid, secured and dynamic worldwide communication.
