Mental Health Site Shatters Expectations in First Week
newly launched mental health support site shatters through 2500 hits in it's first week.
For Immediate Release-
Last week saw the launch of a brand new mental health resource site, Bi-polarbears.com. In it's first week, the online information and support group reports almost 3,000 hits-- more than even the most optimistic of it's creators expected.
"We know it's modest compared to commercial sites like E-bay or Amazon," says Donna Wilson, creator and content supervisor for Bi-polarbears.com. "But as the numbers kept climbing, the response has really just blown us away."
The site, operating on a shoestring budget, offers those coping with mental health issues of any sort a place to get support, find information, and see how others are coping (more or less) successfully with the same problems.
The only rule? No whining. "We all share similar problems, and we all sympathize with one another. But this is not the place to wallow in misery," says Wilson. "It is a place", she explains, "to help find ways to move beyond what is holding you back and live a productive life in spite of the cards you've been dealt."
Bi-polarbears.com is the philanthropic arm of parent company Jumpbean Enterprises, a multifaceted media company which also recently launched digital publishing, advertising, graphic arts, web development and hosting services.
