ARGOGROUP ACQUIRES ANITE TELECOMS WAM BUSINESS
Argogroup, the leader in quality management platforms for mobile data services, has announced a definitive agreement with Anite Telecoms Ltd, a specialist systems and software company, to acquire their WAM mobile data monitoring business.
Argogroup, the leader in quality management platforms for mobile data services, has announced a definitive agreement with Anite Telecoms Ltd, a specialist systems and software company, to acquire their WAM mobile data monitoring business – including products, technology, customer agreements and staff – for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition strengthens Argogroups market position and broadens its offering to operators. Anites WAM product, which provides 24x7 network availability and performance monitoring capabilities, complements Argogroups Monitor Master, which focuses on measuring and improving the quality of experience (QXP) for consumers using mobile data services.
Argogroup will integrate WAM and Monitor Master to provide an end-to-end solution to mobile operators, allowing them to measure the performance, usability, interoperability and standards compliance of mobile Value Added Services. Operators will be able to ensure the highest possible quality of data services, thus increasing their take-up.
The two companies previously had an OEM agreement and secured their first ‘win with a UK mobile network operator, providing end-to-end mobile content testing and monitoring for the operator in several countries. This account will be transitioned to Argogroup, together with other Anite Telecoms WAM customer contracts.
We originally chose to work with Argogroup because of their knowledge of this market and the synergy between Anites WAM product and Argogroups Monitor Master. This agreement will ensure that customers continue to receive a high level of service," commented Nigel Coxon, Managing Director of Anite Telecoms.
Mobile operators are increasingly interested in improving the consumers experience of mobile data services," said David Frodsham, CEO, Argogroup. We are thrilled with this strategic acquisition, which augments our product offering, and further increases our market position."
