MVG Verlag to publish German-language edition of "VocationLab: Change Careers - Change Your Life" workshop in German speaking countries. VocationLab helps participants master major life transition events such as corporate layoffs, reorganizations or career changes.
BOISE, ID (PRWEB) June 11, 2003 - VocationLab LLC, a leading publisher of career self-reliance tools, announced today that it entered into an agreement with MVG Verlag, Germanys leading publisher of self-help, motivational and business books, to make the VocationLab® career and life transition program available to German speaking audiences in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. The VocationLab program, developed in Boise, helps participants master major life transition events such as corporate layoffs, reorganizations or career changes.
Under the agreement, VocationLab LLC will provide a version of its Internet-based Sharing Area where participants will be able to exchange their discoveries in their native German language, and MVG Verlag will provide the translation, publication, distribution, and marketing of the VocationLab program content in all German speaking countries.
"I am excited to be able to expand our readership internationally while continuing to publish in new and different formats," said Oliver Fritsch, President and CEO of VocationLab LLC. "These are difficult times within which to manage a career, and we are proud to bring help to the millions of people going through major life transitions such as corporate layoffs in this and other countries right now."
We strongly believe that this innovative program will assist our readers greatly in reevaluating their life, planning their future, and maximizing their life in the present." said Jürgen Diessl, CEO of MVG Verlag. With this program from VocationLab, our readers will now be able to formulate a personal and professional vision based on their ‘innermost motivation instead of external factors such as pay, prestige, or status. This will empower them to live their lives with new focus, purpose and energy. We were particularly impressed with the way how participants can exchange their insights in a secure area on the web. This provides a far more compelling experience than just reading a book."
The publication date of the German-language Vocationlab career self-reliance program has been set for September 2003, in time for the Frankfurt Book Fair that takes place from 8.-13. October 2003.
