IzzyCue and Whole Foods Market (WFMI), the Organics Haute Couture Bed-Partnering Made in Heaven...

IzzyCue goes organic with the introduction of their Mod-Swanky Macaroons, which are made with QAI-certified organic ingredients, now available at select Whole Foods Market stores in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

WASHINGTON, DC. (PRWEB) June 8, 2003 - IzzyCue, the Lifestyle Brand, begins offering organic baked goods with their entry into 25 Whole Foods Market (WFMI) stores within the mid-atlantic region.

From designer S`ushi Bento Boxed Lunches to now premium Organic Mod-Swanky Macaroons for this country's most important Natural Foods Retail Chain, IzzyCue has carved a niche serving its well-defined group of foodies and fashionistas.

"IzzyCue is a global brand that travels with you from one point to another during the course of your entire conscious waking hours," explains its Founder Kenneth H. Tan.

"We understood the crowd psychology of consumerism quite early on in the stage of our business model development. Our brand-conscious supporters like to have their multi-faceted lifestyles fully-catered to through us, be it their sustenance needs, their music, pop art, fashion apparel, and their concept of what's branche`. And we truely enjoy cueing them in," he continues.

The present supply of organic baked goods in the US is unstructured and fragmented at best, compared to most EU countries. Until most recently there has not been a national standard of what is considered organic. But, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) has since October of 2002 put in place a clearly defined set of guidelines that must now be adhered to before a product can be labelled organic.

IzzyCue Cafe Group (Pastry Division) has plans for product line extensions later this year to include organic brownies, blondie bars, fruit squares and Goliath gourmet cookies.

IzzyCue, a unit of BKN International Incorporated, is an emerging cross-channels manufacturer and marketer of high-end consumer products. The unit-brand builds leadership products in three highly focused global businesses: Food & Beverage, Popular Culture and Design & Fashion. Its primary vision is to create a desirable long-term lifestyle brand of significance.

Whole Foods Market is the world's largest and most extensive retailer of natural and organic foods.
