Revolutionary Storyboard Studio 3D software debuts at ShowBiz Expo
Los Angeles, CA - June 27 & 28, 2003 -- Storyboard Studio 3D, an easy to use software enabling filmmakers and other creatives to create storyboards of camera shots taken from any angle, height, or proximity on a computer generated set, will be unveiled at this years ShowBiz Expo. Creating storyboards with this software allows experimentation and exploration of visual ideas before going on location.
Storyboard Studio 3D simulates the control room of a multi-camera Virtual Set. This Virtual Set is assembled with DragnDrop simplicity of snap-together walls with working doors and movable windows, fully posable child and adult actors, plus hundreds of functioning everyday interior and exterior objects.
A director can easily monitor up to eight cameras in any three-dimensional POV with full tilt, pan, zoom, dolly, and crane controls. When the setup is complete, capture exactly the desired shot whether its a simple two shot or a high-angle crane from 20 up. Shots are stored with camera info on height, focal length, and view angle for later reference.
Captured storyboard shots can then be associated with parts of a script, seen as a slideshow, exported to standard graphics files, HTML pages, or turned into a Macromedia® Flash® animation.
Storyboard Studio 3D is a product of Innoventive Software, LLC, the same team that developed Movie Magic Screenwriter 2000, ScriptThing, Power Structure, Power Writer, and Power Tracker. Currently available for the Windows® platform, Macintosh® release is planned for the immediate future. Retail price is $349.00 - Showbiz Expo price will be $199.00.
Storyboard Studio 3D is available at the Writers Store and Write-Brain, Inc.
