A young man from a Queens Housing Projects hopes to make it easier for parents and students to buy and sell used college textbooks.

New website that will help college students buy and sell their used textbooks.

Gabriel G. Freeman a twenty six-year-old young man from Ravenswood Projects recently started a web-site company called A Fadoodle company from his apartment in the Housing projects. The site he built will enable students to search for used college textbooks from other students by just typing information like the title, author, edition of a textbook they are looking for. The web-site will bring up all the people who have that book to sell along with their contact info. The site also allows students to post an unlimited amount of their used textbooks online for a small subscription fee for 1 year.

Gabriel says, Hopefully this site will make it easier when students has to sell their books back instead of trying to be noticed on those unorganized billboards or getting next to nothing back from the college bookstores. I know when I was in school for awhile it was real difficult trying to sell my books. I would have a pile up of books from multiple classes. Plus the cost of each textbook I had to pay for was tremendous. One textbook would cost $50 to $100 for 1 class and I would have 4 classes to buy books for. With this online site the students have an inexpensive service where they could sell to one another."    He also says, I am using all the limited resources that have to get the word out on this because I know once it catches on it will make it easier on the parents and students that normally would have to go through this headache of buying and selling textbooks."

If you are interested in asking for more info email Gabriel at gabriel@fadoodly.com or check out the site at http://www.fadoodly.com.
