The Web site of artist Elizabeth Hack &endash www.elizabethhack.com &endash is featured in the June 2003 issue of The Artist's Magazine in the article "Easing Online." The article mentions the awards Ms. Hack has received for her site design &endash and shares pointers that artists should consider when designing their own Web sites. "My Web site has produced so much benefit. As artists we tend to work solo but the World Wide Web has opened up a whole new frontier."
The article includes a couple of photographs of Hack's Web pages and features "The Wave Series," an ongoing painting project that incorporates mixed media, inspired by Sea Ranch on the North Coast of California. Hack refers to her Web site as " an outgrowth of my paintings, which I consider inner landscapes. Excavating through the composition, my work expresses energy and spirit. It is who I am. Being able to express yourself, regardless of the medium is what art is all about."
Elizabeth Hack has shared the story of her Web site design process in a personal narrative "From Computer Illiterate to Award-Winning Web Designer: A Visual Artist's Journey" in the online publications:

Hack's "Wave Series" paintings were selected this year for a three-year exhibition in the diplomatic residence of U.S. Ambassador David Lyon in Fiji, in conjunction with the U.S. State Department's Art in Embassies Program, a global museum that exhibits work of American artists in 180 diplomatic posts.
Her paintings have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout California, including the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, the Commonwealth Club Gallery in San Francisco, the University of California in Berkeley at the ASUC Studio and the Heller Gallery, the Hayward Arts Council Gallery in Hayward, Gloria Delson Fine Art, the Soolip Gallery in West Hollywood, the Berkeley Art Center Gallery in Berkeley, Carol Dabb Fine Art, the Ashkenazy Gallery in Los Angeles, and the Orlando Gallery in Sherman Oaks.
