Local Karate Schools pursue plans to educate children and parents on Child Abduction, Awareness and Self Defense in the Worcester, Auburn and Spencer Massachusetts areas.

2 free seminars,1 for parents, 1 for children child abduction, awarenss and self defense, and a new summer program that includes giving Kidz'n Power Pack to parents, in the Worcester, Auburn and Spencer area.

Auburn, MA (PRWEB) June 19, 2003 – Parents fear that their child might end up being one of the nearly 1,000,000 children that went missing last year alone. Until now, they had to piece together what to do from various books, articles, television shows, and a variety of services in their communities. Now, however, they can get free help at a local karate school, and learn how to reduce the risk of abduction, increase awareness, and learn self defense specifically designed for children in our dangerous times.

800,000 thousand children went missing last year in our country alone," says Paul McCoy, one of the owners of McCoy's Action Karate in Auburn and Spencer MA. We developed a program that can help children and parents alike increase awareness of child abduction, increase safety and teach basic self defense, and we are offering it to anyone in our communities free." Saturday June 21 at noon there is a 45 minutes Summer Safety Course for children age 5 to 12 offered at the Spencer and Auburn McCoys Action Karate schools, and Saturday July12 at noon there is a free 45 minute class for parents on child abduction, awareness and self defense. During the parent class, there will be a free class for the children, so that the parents can focus on the material being presented.

McCoy's Action Karate would also like to announce that they will be giving a Kidzn Power – Abduction, Awareness and Self Defense Pack" to every family that has a child join their karate program this summer. Kidzn Power is a 3 video pack set that covers Abduction, Awareness, Self Defense and even Internet safety. This program and their free seminars are part of their community awareness program in the Worcester, Auburn and Spencer MA areas.

The Seminars are free to the public, if you call to make a reservation. The Kidzn Power Pack is free to any family if their child joins a McCoy's Action Karate course this summer. The Auburn seminar will be held at 614 Southbridge Street, Auburn MA, and the Spencer seminar will be help at 107 North Spencer Road Spencer MA. Both are at McCoys Action Karates schools. The June 21st seminar is for children, and the July 12th seminar is for parents. The Kidzn Power Pack offer can also be used at these 2 schools.
