Boarderfly enters the womens snowboarding market with clothing and accessories designed by women snowboarders. By focusing on clothes that will not only fit a womans body but appeal to their senses, Boarderfly is a welcome presence in the growing womens snowboarding industry.

Boarderfly was started in 2002 by sisters Lorene, Natalie and Vanessa Voskinarian. With over a combined 15 years of snowboarding experience, they had discovered a major hole in the snowboarding industry. Despite the growth of the womens industry, there was no one selling the types of clothing and accessories that women wanted to wear. Boarderfly was started to meet those needs.

Boarderfly set out to produce clothing that combine the fit that women need and the style that they crave. Owner Lorene Voskinarian said that women dont always want to wear flowers and unicorns. Snowboarding clothes can be stylish and cool without being pink." Most of the manufacturers of womens clothing in the industry are focused on the larger mens market. As a womens only company, Boarderfly can cater to the unique needs of the womens market. To discover what women wanted, Boarderfly has reached out to the womens snowboarding community globally on the snow and the web.

Boarderfly is committed to providing high quality products that still leave riders with enough money for their lift tickets. Rather than scaling down the mens line, their clothing line features garments that are tailored to fit women. In addition, Boarderflys garments are made from finer yarns than industry standards, for a soft comfortable fit. The companys goal is to bring snow style to the street.

Boarderfly has recently released its limited 2003 Summer Line, available exclusively online at http://www.boarderfly.com. Their 2003/2004 Winter Line will be available in September. Boarderfly offers its products in the United States through snowboarding specialty shops and globally through their website.
