Hate the French Enterprises Launches "War of Wit" Against France Through www.hatethefrench.com

Hate the French Enterprises launches humorous website, www.hatethefrench.com to counteract Woody Allen's plea for French tourism.

New York, NY--- June 20, 2003— The war in Iraq may seem to have wound down, but concern over the failure of France to support their long-time allies continues to grow. Hate the French Enterprises (HTFE) launched www.hatethefrench.com and invites citizens of all countries to visit the website and express their support for this War of Wit" by signing up for the message boards, purchasing merchandise from their online store and joining the fun.

Additionally, Hate the French Enterprises is suggesting that Woody Allen take his act to France -- permanently. He would be doing everyone a favor," said the organizers of HTFE. "Woody Allen is already boycotted nationally except for sections of New York City and small parts of New Jersey," the organizers noted. "It's time to make it unanimous and give Woody the French kiss-off he's looking for."

Members of HTFE feel that France, more than any other country, should have supported efforts to free the Iraqi people from totalitarian rule. Great Britain and America saved the French from the bonds of totalitarianism in the 1940s and that experience alone should have provided the impetus for the French to be in the forefront of this latest effort," said Nicole Sherrod, HTFE Director of International Angst and Anti-Diplomacy. By using humor, HTFE hopes to make light of the French government which have failed to support the United States, Great Britain and other countries that supported the efforts in Iraq.

www.hatethefrench.com will also offer a variety of merchandise to the general public. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the families of American military who were killed or injured during the war in Iraq by sending contributions to the following chairties: Army Emergency Relief, the American Red Cross, the Air Force Aid Society, the Navy and Marine Corps Aid Society and the USO. HTFE tee-shirts are already being hailed by people worldwide as the fashion statement of the summer season. An unnamed celebrity said, Im sexy and so are these shirts."

"For years people have hated the French," said HTFE Chief Mudslinger Lee Carter. "But we feel its much more productive to laugh at them than to display the our hatred in a non-productive way. They may deface U.S. and British soldiers graves in France, but we feel that taking the high road -- by making fun of them -- is the best way to show how we really feel."
Back-handed humor is the best way to handle this situation," said Karine Adalian, HTFEs Chief Anti-French Stratestician.

www.hatethefrench.com website will offer an online petition, various message boards, Humor, Anti-French News and information for interested people on what actions they can take to help further this important cause.
