ESPY RECORDS ANNOUNCES ‘SOMETHING YOU CANT FIND TO BE FOUND TODAY
Saint Louis, MO – June 24, 2003 -- Newly founded Espy Records announces the signing of debut artist Tom Wehrle (Wor-lee) and the upcoming release of his first project, Something You Cant Find available on June 24, 2003. The sound is described as a blend of John Mayer meets Ben Folds meets the Goo Goo Dolls.
The first single, released on March 21st, is the song Tired.” The song, released to over 250 Hot AC Radio stations in the USA and around the world, is about being fed up with the normal 9-5 routine of life and how it can be exhausting. The CD is a picture of people in society, even Tom at times, looking for something they can't find.
People so often fill their time with things like e-mails, IM messages, clubbing, going to concerts,
watching movies, falling in love, going to church, or doing whatever they do. It's one thing to search for the tangible, but to look beyond the tangible is rare. With a seize the day mentality; the album is fun, sincere, and authentic in a story -like fashion.
The CD will include 12 tracks and will be distributed through Grassroots Music.
