Island Beach Volleyball Association (IBVB) is pleased to announce that Albert Hannemann, Top Seed AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) player, will be hosting a free volleyball clinic for children, ages 8-18, on Friday, July 11th from 4:00-5:30 PM at Riverside Boulevard Beach in Long Beach, NY. Players of all levels are encouraged to join in the fun, and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Dig For Kids Foundation," where Hannemann serves as vice president and program director.

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 1, 2003 – Island Beach Volleyball Association (IBVB) is pleased to announce that Albert Hannemann, Top Seed AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) player, will be hosting a free volleyball clinic for children, ages 8-18, on Friday, July 11th from 4:00-5:30 PM at Riverside Boulevard Beach in Long Beach, NY. Players of all levels are encouraged to join in the fun, and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Dig For Kids Foundation," where Hannemann serves as vice president and program director.

Hannemanns volleyball clinic will be held one day prior to the second annual Long Beach American Classic Beach Volleyball Tournament to be held at Riverside Boulevard Beach in Long Beach, NY on July 12th and 13th, 2003.

(FIVB) tours in 2002-2004 attempting to qualify for the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece. AL-B is currently ranked #5 in the world on the AVP Tour. He has recently WON the 2002 AVP Hermosa Beach Open Championships in what has been called the most exciting match ever. Exposure for this fan favorite is limitless as all AVP tournaments are televised on FOX sports and aired live on NBC.

Albert enjoys working with children, as he is the vice-president and program director for his cousin Eric Fonoimoana's Dig For Kids Foundation. Albert is also a Big Brother" with Big Brothers of L.A. and teaches volleyball to children from underserved communities with the AAF (Amateur Athletic Foundation). He also teaches volleyball to kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Venice.

Albert is one of the most recognizable players in the world not just because of his successful career but also due to his business ventures and personal appearances. His company volleyballvacations.com keeps him busy as he instructs volleyball clinics for adult players numerous times a year in the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Mexico. He also teaches volleyball clinics at Club Getaway in Connecticut and across the country.
