The ÂBuck-A-Book Challenge, as named by Mark Paul, founder of the Challenge and author of the EntrepreneurÂs Survival Guide, was created as a way to give back to the community. Through the program, when one of the authorÂs books are bought online through a special website set up for the challenge, a dollar will be set aside for the school district of the authorÂs choice.
In January, each author will sign over a check to the school district they have selected, based on total sales from the Buck-A-Book Challenge.
ÂThis is a great way to tackle two problems at once! Besides a direct boost to public school funding, the books we have chosen for the challenge will help local companies perform better, therefore being in a better position to hire, reducing unemployment, said Paul.
Authors participating in the challenge include:
Mark Paul, ÂThe EntrepreneurÂs Survival GuideÂ
Sally Peterson, ÂThe Real American DreamÂ
Dr. Fred Phillips, ÂThe Conscious ManagerÂ
Susan Frost, ÂBlueprint for MarketingÂ
Jerry Fletcher, Cheryl Matschek, Al Siebert, and Gail Tycer, ÂGathering Wisdom: How to Acquire Wisdom From Others While Developing Your Own.Â
Pam Gross & Peter Paskill, ÂWant a New Better Fantastic Job?Â
Ted Newton, ÂGreat Games for GolfÂ
