Leica Geosystems Releases GPro V2.1 Ground Processing Software

Leica Geosystems GIS & Mapping, LLC is pleased to announce the release of GPro V2.1, the main application for downloading and ground processing imagery obtained by the Leica ADS40 Airborne Digital Sensor. GPro 2.1 features notable improvements, including the capability of distributed computing (High Throughput Computing or HTP) and the incorporation of the file naming concept used by the Flight &Sensor Control Management System (FCMS V1.2).

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 28, 2003 -- Leica Geosystems is pleased to announce the release of GPro V2.1, the main application for downloading and ground processing imagery obtained by the Leica ADS40 Airborne Digital Sensor. GPro 2.1 features notable improvements, including the capability of distributed computing (High Throughput Computing or HTP) and the incorporation of the file naming concept used by the Flight &Sensor Control Management System (FCMS V1.2).

GPro can be used to manage ground processing and to create final deliverables. The program provides the functionality to generate geo-referenced and ortho-rectified images from the recorded imagery and positioning data. The software also allows automatic point measurement for triangulation.

GPro 2.1 product features include:
•File naming concept used by FCMS 1.2, which allows:
ohandling of different types of ADS40 focal plates
ouser log file entries into flight project to be viewed and used as annotations
•Tonal Transfer Curve options to help user adapt products according to contrast range of output media
•Support of datasets captured by earlier FCMS versions
•Support for Applanix POSPac V4.02, SOCET SET V4.4.1 and ORIMA V6.05
