"A Way to Say Thank You"

Business Greetings cards make a difference to your business relationships

A Way to Say Thank You: "Miss Manners I'm not," Tom wrote in newspaper column years ago, "but I still say, 'Send your thank-you notes. Now!'"

Keith Davies, founder and CEO of Top Executive Greetings, couldn't agree more. This entrepreneur was shopping for a special "thank you" card last year when he discovered a need. "The most imaginative greeting card I could find was a blank white card stating with all the charm of a P&L sheet: 'thank you for your business.' It was so frustrating."

As Davies researched the card business, his frustration turned into a business plan based on some impressive facts:

"The Greeting Card market is about $7.5 billion in the United States."

"In 2002, Fortune 500 companies sent out more than 28 million greeting cards."

"Most large companies design their own cards because of the lack of creative and high quality off-the-shelf cards."

Convinced that others were as frustrated with the selection of business greeting cards on the market as he was, Davies launched a smart and sharp web site making it easy to purchase cards thanking employees and customers for everything from their leadership to their business. As one brightly colored and creatively designed card proclaims: "Your leadership and direction make a difference to our organization. It is greatly appreciated!"

"We wildly underestimate the power of the tiniest personal touch," Tom wrote. "And of all personal touches, I find the short, handwritten 'nice job' note to have the highest impact."

Davies hopes that thousands of executives agree and will visit his web site at www.topexecutivegreetings.com to make the job of saying "thank you" easier.
