"An exciting, entertaining, and well weaved novel..." Vincent Alexandria - Author of If Walls Could Talk, Postal Blues, & Black Rain

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 2003 -- What happens when Twin Sisters are on opposite ends of the spectrum? Read the energetic drama-filled debut novel ROSES are Thorns, VIOLETS are True (4AllSeasons Publishing/$12.95) by an exciting new author - Shelia M. Goss.

ROSES are Thorns, VIOLETS are True is thought provoking and well written in a style that touches the hearts and souls of sisters and redefines their bond. Shelia Goss tells a story in such a way that it causes you to re-examine your relationship with your family and specifically if you are blessed with a sister. There are twists and turns, so readers get ready for a roller coaster ride of adventure, mystery, deceit and second chances. "A 'must read' that should be added to each book club's reading list," says 4 The Love Of Books' Book Club in Dallas, TX.

"Spellbinding" is how Magdalene Breaux, Author of The Family Curse, Imaginary Playmate and Johnny Calico described her novel. Ms. Breaux also goes on to call it "A suspenseful tale filled with twists and turns. Tag along as the author gets to the heart and soul of sibling rivalry."

ROSES are Thorns, VIOLETS are True revolves around the lives of twin sisters. Rose is an actress who lives a double life. Violet has been able to forgive Rose's hateful deeds over the years, but now she's reached her breaking point. In the end, they both must face their past and learn the act of forgiveness.

Currently residing in Dallas, TX, the Shreveport, LA native has had poems and short stories published in various online magazines over the past few years. Being an avid reader herself and a book reviewer for Shades of Romance Magazine, how did the author come up with this story? "My characters came from a short story I wrote for a class 2 years ago. Rose's character is a combination of personalities -- the diva, prima donna, the "world evolves around me" attitude. Violet is totally opposite -- down to earth, the giver, sensible, everybody's friend."

Besides being an author, she is also an aspiring screenwriter. Although she is venturing into other areas of writing, she's already started promoting her second book. "I'm working on various projects, which include screenplays, but my next novel is "My Invisible Husband."
