Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) July 2003 - It's time for the third annual Cincinnati WAHMfest - a fair that brings mothers and others together with legitimate home-based business opportunities.
Join us for the third annual Cincinnati WAHMfest (work at home mom fest) on September 20, 2003 at the Sharonville Convention Center presented by the Cincinnati Party Consultants (http://www.cpc.homestead.com). WAHMfest hours are from 10 am - 6 pm. All are welcome - mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, anyone who desires to work from home! Admission is FREE! Door prizes will be given away throughout the day!
Cincinnati WAHMfest is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping mothers (and others) fulfill their goal of staying home with their families by connecting them with helpful business resources and legitimate work-at-home or "alternative," flexible opportunities and to help promote mother (and other)-owned businesses through "live" exhibitions, on-line promotion and networking. WAHMfest brings home-based job-seekers and business opportunities along with helpful business resources together!
Melanie Moore, WAHMfest Chairperson states, "We believe the role of Mother is the proudest occupation in the world. However, we also understand, from experience, that moms often need something 'for themselves' - and many have a desire to feel that they are contributing materially to their family's well-being. WAHMfest is dedicated to helping moms stay at home with their children and still be able to fulfill their own needs, as well."
"WAHMfest is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who is looking for a stay at home work environment to interview many different companies and to see which one will suit them and their lifestyle best. From my own experience as a latchkey kid, my siblings and I did too many things after school unsupervised that we shouldn't - I won't even go there! I knew that when I had children that I would want to work from home to be with them, to grow with them, and to be able to do fun things with them. Because of my home business, I can take my children to the museum, zoo, park, pool any day I want and I'm available to help at school in many capacities, chaperone, book sale helper, etc. without worrying about a boss breathing down my neck about my off-time!" states exhibitor Cheryl Matevia.
Lisa Hedge, an exhibitor states, "I recruited a girl from WAHMfest last year and have had such a good time watching her succeed and grow. She is expecting her first child, and staying at home has gone from a being a dream to a reality with the Pampered Chef® (thanks to WAHMfest!)."
