August 4, 2003... Thorndale, PA ... A free-to-sell, buy and browse online auction and website directory for antiques, toys, gifts and collectibles that introduced itself in January 2003 to the delight of online collectors is growing in popularity, having reached its 1100th member.

Whybidmore.com, the brainchild of Dr. Christopher LaBuda, answers to the escalating costs of online auctions, and addresses LaBudas perceived lack of quality collectibles resource web sites. The site offers its members free specialty auctions, an extensive collectibles website directory, a collectibles forum to discuss collectibles-related merchandise, and low-cost quality web hosting.

Dr. LaBuda has been an avid collector of sports cards, autographs and related memorabilia for over 15 years and remains delighted with his companys progress: We are pleasantly surprised at the number of users that we have gained over the past few months, and our continued advertising should allow us to grow rapidly during the next year."

In May of 2003, LaBudas target of 4000 websites in the Whybidmore.com directory by years end seemed a formidable task. However, current web site listings are already at a whopping 2600 with five months still remaining until December. With Whybidmores current growth, LaBuda expects his registered member count to exceed 2500 by the end of this year.

Recent additions to the site include a generous affiliate program, which pays affiliates $0.01 per click for banners or text placed on their web sites. Dr. LaBuda is confident about this particular addition: We believe this affiliate program will help drive more people with an interest in collectibles to Whybidmore.com." Another recent addition is a collectibles banner exchange that was added to assist other related websites advertise their wares without paying anything to advertise.

Currently, Whybidmore.com boasts over 850 auctions listed in 33 categories. Dr. LaBudas goal for Whybidmore.com to become the leading online resource for collectibles" will become even more of a reality in the coming months, with plans for several interactive additions, including chats hosted by collectibles experts.
