EDMONTON, Canada (PRWEB) August 13, 2003 Â ToolButton Inc. today released version 1.3 of ToolButton with a much enhanced Search bar functionality and a significantly streamlined registration process
The ToolButton toolbar now comes with over 50+ search engines that can be configured for the Search bar. The User checks which search engines are to be included in the Search bar pull-down menu.
ToolButton is an Internet Explorer browser enhancement that provides Users with a delivery channel to obtain content from their favorite websites without the worry and bother of spam. Users install the ToolButton toolbar in their browser and add ÂToolButtonsÂ. These are pipelines to dynamic and static content from websites the User chooses. A websiteÂs ToolButton can include news content, dynamic feeds, blogs, .RSS content and menus of important URLs - all available to the User at the click of a button.
"The User feedback of ToolButton indicates the Search function is most often used. Users were telling us this is one of the main reasons for installing ToolButton", said Dale Janssen, Chief Idea Creator and President of ToolButton Inc. ÂAs a result, we significantly improved the Search bar making it very easy for users to add and remove search engines in their setup.Â
ToolButton is free for Users.
ToolButton has a host of advanced features for Users including the ability to customize the Search bar for most any search engine including Google, AltaVista, Yahoo and FAST.
ToolButton boasts some significant advances for web masters including the ability to display .RSS information streams published by websites. Electronic newsletters, ezines, product announcements or other messages can be Âread by users of the websiteÂs ToolButton without the problems of email filtering, spam or corporate firewalls. These information streams are dynamic, meaning feeds can publish website content that is constantly changing including articles, news stories, class attendance lists, community discussion board threads, traffic patterns, sales specials or newly released products.
