Terri Schiavo Hospitalized.

Questionable circumstances surround hospitalization of disabled Pinellas County woman.

Clearwater, FL -- August 15, 2003 -- On Wednesday, August 13th, Terri Schiavo was moved from a Hospice facility in Pinellas County to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida and admitted through the hospitals Emergency Room. Ms. Schiavo was admitted due to an emergency medical crisis.

Hospice never notified the parents of Terri Schiavo, Bob and Mary Schindler of Gulf Port, Florida and the parents did not learn of their daughters whereabouts until almost 24 hours later.

Staff at Morton Plant Hospital are working under instructions by Terris husband, Michael Schiavo, not to disclose Terris medical condition to her parents. There is a 1996 Court Order filed in the Circuit Court for Pinellas County that requires he notify Terris parents in the event of a change in medical condition. Thusfar, this order is being ignored.

Bob and Mary Schindler have been engaged in an ongoing legal battle to block the efforts of Terris husband, Michael Schiavo, to remove a feeding tube which provides Terri nutrition and hydration. Doing so will cause Terris death.

Mr. Schiavo states his wife wouldnt want artificial assistance, while the family maintains she can recover and have more than 13 physicians on record who have stated the same.
