Homebuilder D. R. Horton has begun work on a 122 home site community in Sherwood that will be its most picturesque project to date in the area.

Sherwood, Oregon (PRWEB) August 17, 2003 -- Homebuilder D. R. Horton has begun work on a 122 home site community in Sherwood that will be its most picturesque project to date in the area.

Horton will build its 122-home development, named Heron Ridge, on the newly acquired site at Roy Rogers Road west of Seely Lane. Homes will vary in size and price and will be surrounded by natural watershed areas and views of the pristine farmland to the north of the site.

Sales are expected to start in September; two decorator model homes are planned to be constructed and open in February. The community will be developed in two phases, with advance reservations and purchases available for the first 112 lots in Phase One.

Heron Ridge will feature single-family homes ranging in size from 1,800 square feet to 4,100 square feet on large lots in the Hopkins Elementary School District.
