Author Tess Collins Finishes Trilogy
Author Tess Collins has finished the long awaited thrid novel in her Mystery Series of Alma Bashears. "Law of Betrayal" follows attorney ALma Bashears as she delves into her fathers nurder and discovers her own heritage. Law of Betaryal is due out in October of 2003.

Appalachian trilogy concludes with release of new novel
SAN FRANCISCO, CA August, 2003 -- THE LAW OF BETRAYAL, the long-awaited conclusion to Tess Collins Alma Bashears trilogy will be available October 1, 2003. The third book follows commonwealth attorney, Alma Bashears as she delves into the mystery of her fathers disappearance and learns of her own unique heritage.
Tess Collins is a coal miners granddaughter with Cherokee ancestry on her mothers side and a legend of being descended from a mountain clan known as the Seven Sisters on her fathers. Raised in the southeastern Kentucky town of Middlesboro, she spent her early years listening to mountain tales of haunted hollows, ghosts, moonshiners and unsolved murders.
Previous novels include THE LAW OF REVENGE and The LAW OF THE DEAD. She has also written three plays TOSSING MONTE, BARBARIANS, and HELEN OF TROY and has published articles on writing for Byline Magazine and The Writer. Her non-fiction book HOW THEATER MANAGERS MANAGE is published by Rowman and Littlefields Scarecrow Press.
