Tanganyika Trading Company draws its name from the East African nation of the Tanzania before it annexed the island of Zanzibar. Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, they manufacture their products in Karen, a posh suburb of Nairobi, Kenya named for Karen Blixen, the main character in the Hollywood movie "Out of Africa."

The company goes far beyond simply giving the perception of luxury to dispensing it in full measure.
