New online edition of Bob Blacks classic book The Abolition of Work and Other Essays now available

Bob Black's seminal 1986 book The Abolition of Work and Other Essays has been republished in a new online edition, available free at inspiracy.com.

September, 2003 -- Bob Black's seminal 1986 book The Abolition of Work and Other Essays has been republished in a new online edition at inspiracy.com.

A collection of essays, rants, posters and epigrams originally published by Loompanics in 1986, The Abolition of Work and Other Essays is available free at http://www.inspiracy.com/black/.

Its well-known title essay — of which the International Times said "should be dropped in thousands from every aeroplane available" — has been translated into French, German, Italian, Dutch and Slovene. Black's infamous Last International posters, most appearing here in their original format (augmented by several selections not part of the Loompanics edition) have been photocopied in the tens of thousands by punks, libertarians, anarchists, anti-authoritarians and other marginals. His caustic reviews and essays are legend, justifying Booklists praise of his "provocative, visionary humor of Twainian, Biercian ferocity and zest."
