Dallas-based Jani-King named top franchise among Hispanics
Coral Gables, Fla.-based Hispanic Trends magazine named Dallas-based Jani-King International, which has more than 9,500 commercial cleaning franchises globally, as a top franchise for Hispanics.

This is Jani-King's first appearance in the magazine.
The magazine states in its spring 2003 edition that Jani-King, with over 9,500 operating units, has more Hispanic franchisees than any other franchisor. 2003 has been a record year for franchise sales according to Jani-King which recently announced that it has sold its 10,000.

Hispanic Trends magazine is not the only magazine to recognize Jani-King as a franchise leader. Entrepreneur magazine has recognized the franchise as the number one low-investment franchise and top five fastest growing franchise among other franchise leaders including 7-Eleven, Subway and McDonalds.
Flexible investment start-up costs and low inventory are the reasons Victor Salazar sited as why he chose to buy a Jani-King franchise. Based in San Antonio, Texas, Salazar purchased a franchise after being laid off from his job as a field technician. Over the past 12 months Salazar has built a successful business servicing some of San Antonios top companies including Federal Express and InfoXX.
Based in Dallas and founded in 1969, the company has overt 10,000 franchises worldwide.
Hispanic Trends is a business quarterly co-published by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
