September, 2003 -- Larry and Ed Teckmeyer announced the launch of a daring and ambitious film project which, for the first time will allow people to interact with the filmmaking process. The project, an innovative E-Learning website where members get to learn and participate in all aspects of moviemaking, including the human side of it, by being involved in the process and watching it happen, went live today. Not only will members get to learn filmmaking, they will get to closely interact with the principals involved in the production of the film," said Ed Teckmeyer, director of the film.
The site will allow people all over the world to watch auditions, rehearsals, and the actual filming of the movie. Sitting in on production meetings, selecting costumes and props, choosing cast members, naming characters and deciding the alternative ending of the movie are just some of the ways members will get to contribute to the film. Using rich media, members will get to take a virtual tour through the lives of the cast and crew as they experience the troubles and triumphs of making a feature film. Some members will even get the opportunity to be in the movie themselves.
Every step in the filmmaking process will be recorded and posted to the site, including live web cam broadcasts, on location still photos, video diaries and how to articles on all the individual steps necessary to make a feature film.
