BUSTAMANTES CONTRACT PRICE FINDS MOMENTUM AS ARNOLDS PRICE BEGINS TO SLIDE

Political Futures Contracts Indicate a Close Race In The California Recall

New York, NY – (PRWEB) September 5, 2003 -- Arnold Schwarzenegger may have gotten an egg thrown at him in the middle of the week, but his futures contract price had started to go sunny-side down long before. Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante has seen steady gains in his contract price, going from a low of $13.00 in mid-August to a recent price of $44.00, as last quoted on the Tradesports Futures Exchange. With the current price momentum in Bustamantes corner, and with no price support for the Terminator, this California Recall is turning into a barnburner.

Arnolds contract price has gone from $66.00 to a last price of $42.00, and looking at the contract-pricing chart, solid support is nowhere to be found. Perhaps his contract price will settle in at these levels, with most of Arnolds campaign hype having been removed from the contract price over the past 20 days. Dodging debates and not taking a stance on political issues can only hurt the actors chances of gaining price support in the $40 range. If the upcoming debate that he is attending sheds any light on his inability to be a strong leader, then it will be interesting to see how traders react. Do you sell Arnold and buy Cruz? Will a poor performance by Arnold lead traders to buy the Recall Fails contract? Only time will tell.

What can be told today is that based on technical analysis, Arnold needs to quickly find a campaign stronghold before his contract price falls any further. Bustamante, on the other hand, can stay the course, because he is gaining price momentum with each day Californians draw closer to the big vote. These two frontrunners have only a $2.00 price differential between their contracts, still making it either mans race on paper, but the current pricing patterns indicate Bustamante as the one to beat.
