Chekmayan Meets Clinton, Names Top Ten Public Speakers of the Last 100 Years

Sales training wunderkind Ara E. Chekmayan meets former President of the United States, at the William J. Clinton Presidential Foundation Young Professional Event" on July 23rd at Capitale Restaurant in New York City. Chekmayans idea of releasing a top ten list of the greatest speakers came as a result of meeting venerable communicator Bill Clinton.

NEW YORK, September 11, 2003 /PRNewswire/ -- Tactical Sales Professionals, Inc. a communications and media company, announced today that its CEO, Ara. E. Chekmayan was releasing a top ten list of public speakers.

Chekmayan, recently seen on the September 4th edition of Fox5s Good Day New York," talking about opportunities in the current job market, is himself an in demand public speaker. He will be speaking at Newsdays Career Builder Expo at Nassau Coliseum on September 24th and the Long Island Association on September 26th at their headquarters.

The idea for releasing a top ten list of the greatest speakers of the last one hundred years came to me when I recently met former President Bill Clinton" said Chekmayan.

Ironically, Clinton did not make the cut. Continued Chekmayan the former President is a strong communicator but there was tough competition for a spot on the top ten." He was also quick to point out that he was choosing oratory masters who displayed a rare blend of speaking ability and charisma. I wanted to comprise a list of spellbinders" he said.

Making the cut were Winston Churchill, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Adolph Hitler, Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, Jay Bildstein, Norman Vincent Peale, Dolores Gómez Ibarruri, Jimmy Swaggart and Fidel Castro.

It is not enough to be a good communicator to be considered a spellbinder. You have to be able to enrapture your audience with not only well chosen words, but with dynamic style and a charismatic persona that inspires in people the desire to transcend their circumstances. Hitler used his abilities to commit unspeakable evils, Martin Luther King Jr. in a quest for the highest good" said Chekmayan. Oratory genius is devoid of a moral reference point. What is important is what we can learn from it." he said.

Chekmayan may well find himself on the list one day. The demand for his talks is on a steep rise. Said he to speak well and for a good purpose is ennobling." To hear him speak is to believe it.
