AUSTIN SYMPHONYS HALLOWEEN CHILDRENS CONCERT

AUSTIN, TX (PRWEB) September 18 2003--What Austin tradition is creepy and crawly yet not too spooky for the little-bitties (and still exciting and enlightening for the whole family)? Its fun-filled, educational, and classical music that will leave you shakin in your boots: The Austin Symphonys Halloween Childrens Concert. The annual performances will be held on Sunday, October 26 at 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre located at 713 Congress Avenue. This concert is a wonderful chance for you to introduce your children to the wonders of live music and also a great opportunity to wear costumes and have tons of fun.

Children will also be introduced to various instruments in the orchestra and learn about the music being performed. With surprise special effects and classical favorites, families will never want to leave! The program will include Halloween favorites, Danse Macabre”, In the Hall of the Mountain Kin”, and will feature the musical fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood.” With the first foot in the door, the atmosphere will spark excitement and imagination in listeners of all ages although the program is designed mainly for families with children between the ages of 3 and 10.

The Halloween Childrens Concert is your chance to get involved with and buy season tickets for the ASOs 2003-2004 Family Series, which also includes the Spring Family Concert with Joe McDermott on April 24 and guaranteed seating at the Christmas Sing-Along on December 16, at a great price: $14 for children and $20 for adults. The Austin Symphony also offers the Family Four Pack for only $50, which includes 4 individual tickets for all 3 concerts.

Childrens tickets are $8; tickets for adults are $12.
Individual and Family Series tickets are available through the ASO Box Office

You can also purchase tickets through any STAR ticket outlet
and at the Paramount Theatre beginning October 1, 2003.
