NEW OFFICE MARKS TEN FOLD INCREASE FOR SECURITY SPECIALIST

Since setting up their first Leeds office in 1996, security integration specialist Pointer has achieved a 10 fold increase in business throughout the Yorkshire and Humberside region. Regional director Ian Stones explained, "Our first Leeds office opened with a staff of four. We later moved to a 2,300 square foot building at St David's Court and have now moved, in the same development, to a 5000 square foot building. Our core staff of 15 in the office supports a total regional staff of 40 including security surveyors, installation fitters and maintenance staff. Leeds regional turnover for the company exceeds 4 million."

(PRWEB) September 21, 2003 --Pointer specialise in the integration of digital and biometric access control, fire and intruder alarms, CCTV, and automatic number plate recognition. The new building will include a demonstration suite where these technologies will provide a realistic and fully operational experience for clients and staff training. This will be complete and fully in use within the next month.

"Leeds is a dynamic business environment with good links and a skilled adaptable workforce. These factors have helped the growth and promise well for the future," Ian concluded.

Pointer's national HQ is in Glasgow. The company has grown to become an international force in security integration, working with major companies, government agencies and financial institutions. This led to them opening their first overseas office in Thailand in 2001. Their installations are based on combining leading security technologies from Japan, the USA and Europe.
