dB Dynamics Launches Web!Buddy
Web!Buddy is the first in a series of Buddy” ACT! Add-on products. ACT! For Web users will find it indispensable as it energizes AFW capabilities in E-mails, Attachments, Letters & Document Management through its central repository.
Manassas, VA - September 5, 2003 – dB Dynamics, Inc. today announced its latest software tool for ACT!—Web!Buddy—that is now available. dB Dynamics was the creator of the popular ACT! For Web product that is now owned by Interact Commerce Corporation. AFW provides access to ACT! data to remote users over the Internet. AFW was an immediate hit, and has thousands of users since its launch in the spring of 2003. Web!Buddy enhances AFW by supporting mass e-mails and letters, multiple attachments to e-mails, and a new document repository that permits companies public and private access to important documents. With Web!Buddy, you have a complete and powerful sales management tool.
Web!Buddy is a sophisticated, Web-enabled combination of shared document storage, a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor that handles text and Web pages, and powerful tools for building letter templates, letters and e-mails. It is powerful enough to support marketing campaigns and customer service applications—but is easy and straightforward enough that your people will actually use it.
AFW is one of the most exciting products introduced into the ACT! community in years. You might say that AFW revitalized the ACT! experience with its wealth of features. Web!Buddy provides a boost to the excellent facilities of AFW. Web!Buddy is an add-on product that seamlessly piggybacks AFW.

Web!Buddy Benefits:
· Web!Buddy installs in less than five minutes on your Web Server. Thus, its facilities are immediately available.
· Compose a single e-mail, select the desired recipients (choose individual Contacts and/or Groups), press the Send button and your e-mail campaign is underway.
· Users can attach an unlimited number of documents to their e-mails from their local drives or the Document Repository (where the company can organize folders for Pricing, Support Issues, FAQs, Newsletters, etc.).
· When users are out of the office and need to send e-mail, they can use the facilities of your Web Server (instead of reconfiguring their computer or that of the computer that was borrowed from the hotel where they are staying).
· Users can preview the results of a template, e-mail or letter they are composing without printing or sending a copy.
· The WYSIWYG Editor provides the same look and feel as that of Microsofts Word. Thus, users will be comfortable using its facilities.
