Janet Bodnar, Executive Editor Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine will be the keynote speaker at the October 1st Money Wi$e Women Forum in Bellevue, WA.
A Money Wi$e Women Forum, which teaches women the steps to achieve financial fitness is planned for October 1st at The Harbor Club in Bellevue. Janet Bodnar, Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine Executive Editor will be the keynote speaker. Ms. Bodnar is a nationally recognized expert in the field of children's and family finances. She has written several books, including Think $ingle! The Woman's Guide to Financial Security at Every Stage of Life. This is Ms. Bodnar's only speaking engagement in the Puget Sound area.
Marcia Brixey, founder of Money Wi$e Women will tell participants how to protect themselves from identity theft and important things women need to know about Social Security. The Federal Trade Commission recently released a report that approximately 10 million Americans were victims of identity theft last year. Ms. Brixey presents Money Wi$e Women seminars, workshops and classes throughout the Puget Sound area. She writes a regular column for The Sun newspaper, which serves the Kitsap peninsula and VerveWomen magazine. Ms. Brixey is also a regular guest on Positive Talk Radio at KKNW 1150 AM in Seattle.
Registration and networking begins at 4:30 pm. The program begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 8:30 pm.
