Imagine a tough guy, construction worker, drug addict, and convicted felon...writing children's books! That's the life story of Peter Thomas, a writer who has fought his own battle with drugs, crime, alcohol, and won! In his distinct New England accent, Thomas shares the story of his amazing life "before and after," and how universal themes like love, friendship, and trust were the end results from a life you could not even dare to imagine. Now Peter's story of tragedy to triumph is available to you, as he talks about life on the streets, life behind bars, and finally life as he only dreamed it could be.

(PRWEB) September 27, 2003 --Peter Thomas was born in 1961 and raised in a Boston area housing project. He became addicted to drugs, alcohol, and crime before he reached his teens. He is the owner of a concrete company that serves the greater New England area and is also a nationally published children's book author of stories that promote love, trust, friendship and other good positive values, values that are now etched in his soul. For overall years he has been free from ALL addictions, and 90% of his paralysis is now gone The path he walks as an author has put him in front of thousands of children and teachers as he speaks about the power we all possess to write our own stories of life. He also talks in prisons with MADD and is an avid speaker about reform and self worth. He has a story about change, a good story, a true story with a lot of hard learned lessons and a fantastic ending. He looks forward to meeting with you and talking about life.
