New Trend in Mainstream Media - Predicted Demise of Current Reality Shows.

International astrologer/author, Chrissie Blaze predicted that in 2004 and beyond, astrology would appear regularly in the mainstream media, due to increasing public interest, and that reality shows would gradually become less trite and more meaningful through the use of astrology.

(PRWEB) January 22, 2004 --Since her prediction, Chrissie Blaze has been approached by several leading TV networks to lend her astrological expertise for mainstream shows.

The first was BBC TV who wanted to use astrology for a documentary on Hollywood Star, Cameron Diaz.

Shortly after that, ABC TV approached Blaze for research for their Valentine's Day Show "Hollywood's Hottest Couples", and she was asked to do astrological research on 24 of Hollywood's most popular couples, from Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, to Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan.

Using astrological data, Blaze was able to analyze each relationship, and the future potential.

Last week, Blaze was again contacted. This time by a Home and Garden show on mainstream TV. This reality home makeover show wanted an astrologer to predict what type of home furnishings the home owners would like.

In Chrissie Blaze's words: "I predicted this trend in 2004 as the planet Uranus (representing astrology) entered the sign of Pisces (representing the media and film).

"This means that a combination of poetry, art and spirituality will start to appear regularly in mainstream media and film. This will gradually replace the banal reality shows that are now so popular. During the next seven years - starting now - one thing we can expect astrology to become a mainstay in the media, and it will gain more popularity than ever before.

"There will be a slow switch from hard news and reality shows, to a more imaginative and artistic style of show involving astrology and other psychic and spritual sciences.

"My prediction is that any TV or radio show that incorporates astrology and spirituality will become very successful in the next seven years."
