The 1st Ayushman Chattisgarh Swasthya Abhyan 04, held successfully

Over 1500 patients from 103 villages from this block benefited from this free endosurgical OPD camp. The response to the camp was overwhelming & that 46 patients have been selected for endosurgery.

(PRWEB) January 24, 2004 --The 1st Ayushman Chattisgarh Swasthya Abhyan 04, was held successfully on January 18, 2004, at the Primary Health Center, Abhanpur, Raipur between 8 a.m to 6 pm. Free Endosurgery & Gynaecology OPD was conducted with the help of Rotary Royal-Raipur. Over 1500 patients from 103 villages from this block benefited from this free endosurgical OPD camp.

Speaking to the press personnel the Medical Director of Ayushman Endosurgery Center, Raipur said that the response to the camp was overwhelming & that 46 patients have been selected for endosurgery.

These selected 46 patients will undergo free of cost surgery at Ayushman Endosurgery Center, Raipur over the next 2 weeks.

Hon. Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Dr.Krishnamurthy Bandhi & Ex-BJP MLA from Abhanpur Shri.Chandrashekar Sahu attended the camp. Dr.Bandhi commended Ayushman Endosurgery Center, Raipur as well as Rotary Royal for organizing this camp. He said that it is important that people of Chattisgarh benefit from the quality healthcare which the state of art- Ayushman Endosurgery offers at Raipur & such kinds of camps makes this possible.

Satish Singh, Project Director of Ayushman Endosurgery Center, Raipur thanked the Rotary Royal, Raipur, Dr.Chandrika Sahu of Sahu Diagnostics, Raipur, Dr.Vinay Tiwari of Tiwari Clinical Labs, Raipur for the help extended for this camp.

He also thanked the Health Department of Chattisgarh including Dr.Rajmani, Dr.Aggarwal, Dr.Hinduja, Dr.Kanwar for their support.

He appealed to the Industrialist in Chattisgarh to come forward & create a fund to help the poor & needy patients who require urgent medical help. He also said that Ayushman Endosurgery Center now plans to carry forward this Ayushman Chattisgarh Swasthaya Abhyan 2004 to more centers across Chattisgarh to offer Quality tertiary healthcare to the masses at their doorsteps".

Dr. Pradeep Chowbey head of Ayushman Endosurgery Center, Raipur said that his team is committed to strengthen the hands of the Chattisgarh Government and provide the best of health facilities, endosurgical training as well as health education to people across the state. He said that his team is always ready to participate in any health camp in the state.
