PHRG Conducts Healthcare Needs Assessment in the Kenai Peninsula Borough of Alaska

The Central Kenai Peninsula Hospital Service Area Board, located in Soldotna, Alaska recently hired Public Health Resource Group (PHRG) to assist them in their strategic health planning for residents of Kenai Peninsula.

Portland, ME (PRWEB) January 23, 2004 - The Central Kenai Peninsula Hospital Service Area Board, located in Soldotna, Alaska recently hired Public Health Resource Group (PHRG) to assist them in their strategic health planning for residents of Kenai Peninsula. PHRG will conduct a community health needs assessment to identify gaps in health care services. PHRG has conducted over 75 health needs assessment throughout the US and overseas.

PHRG will utilize its Community and Institutional Planning Process (CIAP) for this project. The assessment includes a health survey of residents that will be conducted by Critical Insights, Inc., also of Portland. The findings from the PHRG report will shape the Service Area Boards recommendations on the allocation of resources to more effectively and efficiently meet the needs of Alaskans residing in this area.
