Canadian Bank Note selects software and services from Advent 3B2 to streamline production of financial documents

The Canadian Bank Note Company has purchased a multi-seat configuration of Advent 3B2's high-level automatic composition and pagination software for its Financial Printing Division.

Swindon (PRWEB) January 24, 2004 --Advent 3B2, Inc. today announced that Canadian Bank Note Company, Limited recently purchased a multi-seat configuration of its 3B2 composition and pagination software for its Financial Printing Division.

The Advent 3B2 system is expected to help streamline the creation, review and fast turnaround production of financial documents for customers of the company's Financial Printing Division.

"We believe that Advent 3B2 software will help us to provide our clients with a bona fide technological advantage in the creation and editing of their financial documents," said Daniel R. McNeil, Vice President of Canadian Bank Note's Financial Printing Division. "We expect the new system will give us expanded flexibility and higher efficiency in the production of financial documents such as prospectuses, offering circulars and annual reports, so we can offer additional capabilities to meet the continually changing needs of our clients.

According to McNeil, Canadian Bank Note chose to work with Advent 3B2 because of the company's extensive experience in the financial printing arena as well as the strengths of its software and consulting services. Canadian Bank Note particularly appreciated the breadth of sophisticated composition capabilities built in to Advent 3B2 software and the fact that it can be tailored to CBN's specific needs and workflow requirements.

The Advent 3B2 software is currently being installed and tailored at Canadian Bank Note's facility in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and the company expects to begin live production with it in Q2 2004.

"Financial printing is a unique business with specialized requirements in terms of interactivity, the ability to view changes and who made them on screen. Efficiency and speed to accommodate fast, last minute turnaround are equally as important," said Michael O'Neill, Group Sales Director at Advent 3B2 and COO of Advent 3B2, Inc. in North America.

"We are delighted that Canadian Bank Note, like a growing number of financial printing companies worldwide, has recognized the special capabilities that our company and our products offer in this area."
