The point-and-shoot Windows Remote Access Software.
Lets you manage servers and workstations from your local computer. AWRC does not require that you install any software on the remote machine. This turns the software particularly useful for accessing remote machines without any previous preparation.
Lisbon, Portugal (PRWEB) January 25, 2004 --Atelier Web Remote Commander software self-deploys to a remote computer - before or after the remote user has logged-in - and immediately gets ready to start operations in the new territory.
Like the best traditional remote access software, the Remote Commander lets you work comfortably on the remote desktop.
But, additionally, a vast arsenal of tools is available for information gathering and management.
You can obtain precise details on the Operating System, CPU, BIOS, Memory, Display Adapter, Logical Printers, Hardware Devices, running Processes, Services and Drivers, open Ports and established Connections, Users and Groups, Shares, Disk Partitions, and read Physical Memory.
You can perform File System operations like Download, Upload, Launch, Zip and Unzip, Make Directory, Rename, Delete, Copy or Move files and directories and send and retrieve the clipboard contents.
You can Kill running processes, Shut-down, Power-off and Reboot, Start, Stop, Pause, Resume and Unload services, and much more.
To balance all this power, only users with an Administrator account on the remote computer are allowed to deploy the Remote Commander.
Because this is not enough in some cases, the new AWRC release 4.0 offers optional software for blocking, filtering and logging accesses on the remote computer. Optionally, the communication can be strongly encrypted for safely data exchange across hostile environments.
This is a must-have tool for Helpdesk personnel and System Administrators, with side benefits to every kind of Intelligence and Remote Supervision requirement.
