Aardvark Media launches new website and strategic direction
The UK web development company Aardvark Media has launched a new standards compliant site. The site content has been rewritten to focus on their key strength of custom web application development.
(PRWEB) January 25, 2004 --Aardvark Media, the Battersea based web development company, has re-launched it's website. The launch is designed to coincide with a change in the business model of the company as it seeks to focus more on custom application development.
The new website offers some limited visual re-branding in line with the company's recent printed output. However, the content has been overhauled with a view to providing a more transparent, honest appraisal of the company's strengths and abilities. In keeping with this, site has also been built according to the same web standards the company now advocates to its clients.
The time was right for a a sustantial revision of the site according to Web Projects Manager, Stuart Curran. It was about time that we took our own medicine and did a standards-based re-design of our site. We felt that we had to be consistent by using the same technology for ourselves and our clients."
Part of the reasoning behind the re-design was a change in the type of work the company was being asked to do. Most of it's business from the last two years has come from what might be loosely described as web-based applications".
The company has been creating custom-built Content Management Systems for clients since it's earliest days. Increasingly however, clients are placing more importance on automating smaller, more manageable chunks of their content rather than entrusting everything to a single system.
When clients come to us asking for something very specific we couldnt be happier" says Company Director Chris Johns. It shows that they have thought realistically about what they can achieve. Our technical know-how and solid project management help them focus on getting value for money rather than being distracted by the hype".
