Springboard Musicians' Association Celebrates Its Launch With A Trade Show And Music Industry Workshops January 31st in Tampa, Florida

The first of a series of music business workshops will be offered designed for songwriters and musicians. The Springboard website offers a variety of education and music- related resources with the independent musician in mind.

(PRWEB) January 25, 2004 --The first in a series of weekend music business workshops will be offered in the Tampa area on January 31st, 2004 at the Comfort Inn Conference Center to celebrate the launch of Springboard, a newly formed musicians association. Designed to address a wide variety of issues important to musicians, the one-day workshops will consist of informative seminars and a tradeshow featuring exhibitors representing a variety of services and products for musicians and performers. Attendance is open to the general public with tickets available through the Springboard website and at the door. Nationally known hit songwriter and workshop veterans Jerry Vandiver and Gracie Hollombe will present Your First Cut-A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting There, based on their innovative workbook now in its 3rd printing. Other workshop topics to be presented by Tampa- based music industry professionals will include the recording process, relating to the media and career paths for the working musician.
