Local Canadian Media Company Hits Up Hollywood!

Tumbler Media Productions of Thunder Bay, Ontario secures contracts with Los Angeles based rock band Bad Gravity and Hollywood bound Canadian band, Star74.

(PRWEB) January 28, 2004 --Local company, Tumbler Media Productions is set to bowl over the Hollywood music industry over the next few months following the announcement of two major music production contracts with Los Angeles based rock band, Bad Gravity and Hollywood bound Canadian band, Star74.

Owned and operated by Luke Gladu and Henry Suarez, Tumbler Media Productions is a young company in Thunder Bay offering state-of-the-art audio and video engineering, production and duplication as well as web design and graphics solutions from their all digital in-house recording facilities. The professional quality of these music production services is hitting the high notes with some of the hottest up and coming recording artists in North America.

Hollywood based rock band, Bad Gravity (formerly known as Sterling) heard about Tumbler Media Productions through a communal PR contact in the music industry and after sampling their work, have contracted Tumbler Media to work on the production of some of their music videos as well as the bands website and album sleeve designs. This contract makes a bold testament about the high level of expertise available at the Tumbler Media Productions studio and is the first step towards the launch of the company onto Hollywoods walk of fame. Bad Gravity, have worked with some of the music industrys finest artists such as No Doubt, Green Day and the Counting Crows and were recently nominated and awarded the title of the best rock newcomers at the famous Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival in California. Their first music video is set to debut on MTV next month, their tracks are receiving rave reviews from US and European radio and television stations and their tours are sell out.
Canadian band Star74 has since then hired the services of Tumbler Media Productions in preparation for their trip to Hollywood in March to meet with A&R Executives at Dreamworks. The contract involves handling the complete branding, imaging, web presence and audio/video production at an independent level.

Says Henry Suarez of Tumbler Media; We are incredibly excited about where these projects are going to take us and our business over the next couple of months. Obviously, our goal is to become recognized as a first class production company and compete with the big players throughout Canada and the US and these two contracts are a first step towards achieving this goal. What gives us an edge at Tumbler Media is that we are musicians ourselves and are therefore sympathetic to the trails and tribulations of achieving quality recordings in todays competitive digital realm. Also, we use innovative recording techniques within a reasonable budget to achieve professional results which attracts artists both locally and across the border. These kind of services are a God send for independent artists trying to make their mark in the music industry because todays record executives and A&R reps look for the whole package -- image, presence in the media and a professional sound, which only reduces their initial costs for marketing and promotion when they launch a new artist. Remy Shand, signing to Motown is a perfect example. They released his independent recordings because the quality could not be argued with. At Tumbler Media Productions, we can provide this avenue to todays independent artists."

Tumbler Media Productions are keen to promote and encourage growth for the Thunder Bay music industry, recognizing that there is a wealth of undiscovered talent within the region. Previous projects have included work on last years Thunder Bay Idol and the judging and recording of the local Battle of the Bands competition. Tumbler Media Productions is located at 215 Red River Road, Suite 205 and can be reached at 807.344.3862 or Tumbler@Tbaytel.net
