FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (PRWEB) January 30, 2004 - -Hyde Shipping Corporation announced that it has selected SeaSecure LLC, a global leader in maritime security and counter-terrorism consulting, to perform security assessments and security plans for their fleet of ships and port facilities.
Captain Michael Youngman, Operations Manager for Hyde, said in a statement, As the designated Company Security Officer for Hyde Shipping, one of the first items of business in getting the company prepared to meet the provisions of the ISPS Code was to seek out an organization that would not only guide us through the intricacies of the Code, but would also become our 'security partners in developing and upgrading our procedures to meet the challenges facing the maritime industry and to cope with changes worldwide in this field."
Captain Youngman went on to say, I am happy to report that in opting to work with SeaSecure, we achieved all that we set forth to accomplish and more. SeaSecure enjoys not only an excellent reputation locally but also internationally in the field as maritime security consultants, and having them onboard and seeing first hand their capabilities and professionalism, this reputation is being proven to be well deserved. They continue to meet all deadlines and offer a first-class work product, and that being the case, have instilled in us a great confidence in their abilities. We are happy to have forged a relationship with them, and under their guidance, we look forward to an even higher degree of excellence that what we would have dared hope for."
Hyde Shipping is a maritime leader in the Caribbean Basin and SeaSecure is very proud to have been selected to provide these essential maritime security services," said Kim Petersen, SeaSecures President.
