Gary Zukav is the author of The Dancing Wu Li Masters: an Overview of the New Physics, which won The American Book Award for Science and has become the bible for those who are interested in learning about quantum physics but are not drawn to mathematics or science. In 1989 he wrote The Seat of the Soul about evolution and the soul, the #1 bestseller in the New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Publishers Weekly, and other publications. In 1999 he wrote the New York Times bestseller Soul Stories, and in 2002 Linda Francis and Gary Zukav wrote The Heart of the Soul: Emotional Awareness, all of which became New York Times bestsellers. Together they have sold 6 million copies and have been translated into 24 languages. Their latest book, The Mind of the Soul: Responsible Choice, and its companion Self Empowerment Journal, were published in October 2003.

Linda and Gary also cofounded the Seat of the Soul Foundation, an exciting nonprofit organization. Growing up in the San Diego area, Linda was deeply committed to the healing profession for 27 years, first as a registered nurse and then as a doctor of chiropractic. For the last ten years she has co-created workshops, books, and video and audio tools on authentic power with Gary Zukav.
