at-sunrice "Hot & Steamy" recipe for romance, love and pure fun
This Valentine's at-sunrice invites you to cook for the one you love, cook with the one you love or cook to get the one you love.
Singapore (PRWEB) January 30, 2004 --The kitchen is the perfect setting for love and romance. Consider this: at-sunrice kitchens have brought many singles together. Jimmy Lam and his wife, Poh Ling, met in our kitchen in 2001, fell madly in love and are now happily married. One of the world's most revered 'love lines' is "The way to a person's heart is through the stomach." Cupid is a cherubic infant that mischievously shoots arrows on impulse. It's no coincidence that Cupid is a little on the pudgy side.
The spell-binding romantic effects of food simply cannot be ignored. This Valentine's, at-sunrice invites love-makers and love-seekers to dispense with the extravagant dinners and get hands-on in swooning your mate or finding one.
"We'd like to think our magical spices, secret ingredients and toasty stoves created the first glowing embers for Jimmy and Poh Ling!", says Kwan Lui (Mrs), director, at-sunrice. "This year, we're upping the ante with aphrodisiac menus and romantic games. After all, this year belongs to the energetic and mischievous monkey. We have to encourage some monkey business."
Hot Menus
at-sunrice will be offering two menus: Italian and Asian aphrodisiacs.
The Italian class will be conducted by Italian guest chef Marco Pigatto. "Italy is not just famous for its resplendent architecture and rich culture, but also the people. Italians are reputed 'Masters of Seduction'. St. Valentine and Casanova are both Italian!" Virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, angel hair pasta and risotto, just to name a few, will be delighting your tongue, taste buds and other senses.
The Asian class will be conducted by at-sunrice's own team of professional ethnic chefs. Asian dishes are renowned for their 'potency' and 'invigorating' abilities. The menu will be steeped in aphrodisiac spices and manifested as the Asian "Kama Sutra in the Kitchen". Expect tonics and aromatic concoctions that will keep you up all night!
Steamy Games
The intoxicating fragrance of spices, wafting aromas of sumptuous food on stoves and sizzling sounds suggesting a delectable ending provides the perfect setting. Participants will be tickled by at-sunrice steamy games. Couples discover how intimately they really know each other. Singles get hitched in cooking teams. It's a no holds barred Hot & Steamy class with blindfolds, merry laughter and hot blushes. Laughter, after all, is a natural aphrodisiac.
Open Ending
After the class, dine alfresco at-sunrice café accompanied by the velvety skies sprinkled with magical stars, the heritage trees hovering protectively and the soft winds breezing through. It's then up to each person to cast their furtive glances, flush with anticipation and cosy up.
