(PRWEB) January 31, 2004 --CD Releases: Shake These Blues", 2002 and The Game", 1999

Voted: #2 Rock Band and #2 Blues Band by Baltimore's Music Monthly 2002 Readers Poll Including Honorable Mentions for: Best in the Region, Live Show, New Artist, Attitude

"Shake These Blues" is damn good. Where the hell has this band been? These guys are friggin' sick! Tight and fluid is an egregious understatement. We are lucky to have this band around the region." - Lauren Wollan, Music Monthly

BIOS:
Eric King - Guitar/Lead Vocals
Eric King has been honing his unique musical repertoire since entering the Washington music scene in the early 1990's. He was drawn to the style and feeling of the legends of blues and R&B, but wanted to combine those influences with a rocking style of music that was his real love. The result was in interesting coalition of styles that makes his music a singular experience. Eric has been playing with the Thin Line since 1999, just after he released his first CD, "The Game". The release of his latest CD, "Shake These Blues", shows a pattern of music growth that is impressive for a writer of his limited experience. Based on this growth, Eric's potential as a songwriter and musician speaks well for his future.

Tony Albany - Guitar/Back up Vocals
A product of the Washington area music scene since the early 1980's, Tony played in local hard rock bands up until his desire to play the blues grew to fruition in the early 1990's consuming both his style and increasing his appetite for a larger variety of music. He began studying different musical styles for the next several years and reentered the music scene in the mid 1990's. After migrating through several local bands without finding his niche, he united with Eric King, who already had his first CD, and was doing primarily original material. Their collaboration resulted in "Shake these Blues"; a project that he believes will surprise and please any listener.

Gil Walters - Drums
Gil Walters, a native Angelino, has seasoned is 30 year musical career with The Platters, Mary Wells, The Checkmates, "Hamilton, Joe, Franks, and Reynolds", The Drifters, The Coasters, Al Wilson, and Ray Charles. Gil has also played with Macho Uno from El Salvador, Korean Folk Artist Kim Park and wizard percussionists Vinx and Armando Peraza. Gil is enjoying his time with the Thin Line and hopes everyone likes the new CD, "Shake These Blues".

Tom Sillis - Bass
Being the newest member of the band we don't know much about him except that he plays great and is a good singer as well.
