MFH2 is a national group of parents, relatives, friends, and anyone who just plain 'gets it' fighting chipped tooth and broken press-on nail for the appropriate education, community acceptance, desperately needed services, rights of and entitlements for individuals with disabilities. (Hey, were moms, we can rattle off really long sentences like that without stopping!)

MFH2 offers more support than a 44DD underwire and more empowerment than a tanker full of caffeine, chocolate & Viagra!
The original Mothers From Hell was founded in the state of Oregon by a band of disgruntled mothers of kids with special needs, armed with only the weapons of the federal laws: IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) & ADA (Americans with
Disabilities Act) and a wicked sense of humor. They created the Brimstone Bulletin, a quarterly newsletter filled with humor and information. Word spread throughout the land - your Mothers are here to help!

In the fall of 1999 these moms were tired, very ,very tired. They searched far and wide to find worthy successors to carry on the mission. Unfortunately, none were to be found, so they settled on a rag tag group of ornery mothers willing to continue the quest. It is not likely a mere coincidence that these newly recruited moms lived in Illinois, which ranked 49th in the nation in inclusive education. The organization was reborn, since we just cant get our fill of labor pains and all the rest of the mess associated with birth, as Mothers From Hell 2.

Since then, MFH2 has built an impressive website, overflowing with hilarity and practical information; sold fabulously chic t-shirts, bumper stickers and the like; had insightful, uproarious articles published in Exceptional Parents Magazine, September 2000, The American Self-Help Group Sourcebook September 2002, Mouth Magazine July 2002; presented and exhibited at national and local conferences, been featured by several national disability organizations in their literature and on their websites, International Rett Syndrome Association, American Society for Ethics in Education, for example; and created an online listserv for our members to commiserate and discover unique & creative solutions to the worlds, and their own, problems.

We have even spawned three official chapter affiliates in Tennessee, North Carolina and Nevada, with others on the way.

MFH2s extravagant annual dues of $10 entitles members to an official membership card, the quarterly Brimstone Bulletin, an invitation to the members-only listserv, a 10% discount on our products, and the solidarity in order to be a downright feisty advocate for their rights.
